Georganne settled in the quite Grand Avenue neighborhood a few blocks
from Lexington and the Governor's Mansion on Summit Avenue. She had interesting
visitors drop by. One day the Prime Minister of the Soviet Union, Mikhail
Gorbochev walked by to visit Governor Perpich.
She painted a number of scenes of her home, backyard and
neighborhood in both gouache and watercolor.
